How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery Touch on your Motorola Droid RAZR XT910?

Every time, when you need to flash the third-party ROMs throught ClockworkMod Recovery on your Android device, you are always using those volume keys to navigate. And now, you can forget it if you have a Motorola Droid RAZR as a touch version of CWM Recovery. Thanks XDA-Developers member hacker812c, this recovery from the Samsung Galaxy S3, it works for both Android Gingerbreakd and Ice Cream Sandwich
Information:
  • The tutorial only suitable for Motorola Droid RAZR XT910, not compatible with Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR XT912, and do not try it on your Verizon RAZR XT912. Also it will brick your device if applying these instructions on any other model
Detailed process:
  • Make sure your RAZR XT912 is rooted, Please refer to How to get full root permission on your Motorola Droid RAZR XT910? 
  • Please download installer apllication for Recovery RazrTouch5845 to your computer, unzip the file, and you can get a .apk file named RazrTouch5845.apk
  • Connect your device to your Computer
  • Please copy the file RazrTouch5845.apk to your phone
  • Disconnect you phone from your computer
  • Please install a file manager application on your phone (We take ASTRO File Manager for example)
  • Please enable “Unknown sources” in Settings —— Developer options or Settings —— Security on your device
  • Run the file manager application, Browse to folder where you transferred the RazrTouch5845.apk file, tap and install RazrTouch5845.apk, after install completes, Razr Touch Bootstrapper application is now installed
  • Run Razr Touch Bootstrapper application on your phone, Tap and install Bootstrap Touch CWM, please allow to grant it root access, after install completes, ClockworkMod Recovery Touch is installed
  • Done
Congratulations!  You have successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery Touch on your Droid RAZR XT910.You can reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery Mode whenever needed by click the Reboot Touch CWM button after run Razr Touch Bootstrapper application on your phone
