How to enable Material You dynamic color theme with new Chrome Canary browser app

As you know, the new version Chrome Canary browser app has now supported new dynamic color themes with a new design feature called Material You that was designed for the next big Android 12 version.

So how should we enable the dynamic color theme with the new Chrome Canary app? It is not difficult to enable this new Material You feature if you are using an Android 12 device. Just make it available by enabling two flags.


Enable Material You dynamic color theme on Android 12 devices

  • Copy and paste the first flag into the URL of Chrome Canary 
  • Tap Default
  • Tap Enabled
  • Copy and past the second flag into the URL of Chrome Canary
  • Tap Default
  • Tap Enabled (Full)
  • Tap Relaunch

Once you relaunched your Chrome Canary, you can check whether the new feature is working. The browser should apply fresh shades to the entire user interface, which is characteristic of the wallpaper colors extracted by Android 12. If it is not working yet, force quit the app and restart from your app launcher.
